Ministry Description |
Orem Community Church will glorify Jesus and draw people to God by the way we love one another. We will seek to be so yielded to Christ that his love in us will overflow into our community, so that we might be Jesus' hands and feet in the world. We are committed to doing justice, seeking peace, and building community. We minister to a small congregation of around 40 members located in Orem, UT, about 40 minutes south of Salt Lake City. We have a beautiful sanctuary and fellowship hall that we use for our church, as well as renting out space to the community. Some of our major ministries include a yearly garden (with all produce being donated to local food banks), a live Nativity, and other community-centered services. We are an open and affirming community, and believe that no matter who you are or where you are on life's path, you are welcome at our church. Pastor We are looking for a loving, part-time lead pastor whose focus is serving people of all ages, races, sexual preferences, and diversities, with a start date of January 1, 2018. Duties include attending meetings, special events, bible study, conducting services and preaching, and attending to our members through the love of Christ. |
