Ministry Description |
New Creation United Church of Christ is an Open & Affirming church looking for a pastor who will join us in our vision to journey upward, journey outward and journey onward. We are a consolidated congregation with a new facility and a vibrant congregation. Our ideal candidate would be able to foster relationships with our committees, collaborating to share ideas and take part in the implementation of the ideas as well. Currently, we are blessed with a strong lay leadership; the church desires a candidate who will partner successfully with us in striving to discern where God is calling us to go. We seek a leader for all members, to inspire a deeper relationship with Christ by encouraging people to relate God’s word to their daily lives. The person we are seeking will be comfortable using up to date audio and visual technology. We value a leader who will participate in and has a strong commitment to the educational ministry of both the young and old of the church. Our new pastor should be able to help us be the church God wants us to be. |
