Ministry Description |
St. John’s UCC is a small but energetic community of believers. We are a welcoming church, striving to be more progressive and inclusive, in southwestern Butler County. St. John’s is a 40 minute drive to downtown Pittsburgh. Our congregation is actively involved in local mission work and community events. Our members feel that God is calling St. John’s to continue to engage in community outreach and to put our faith into action. We anticipate that our pastor will be an effective preacher sharing biblically-based sermons that illustrate how “God is Still Speaking” to us in our daily lives. S/he will also have a positive attitude, be a good listener, and show compassion. |
