“LISTEN TO GOD, LIVE BY FAITH, LOVE ALL PEOPLE” is Trinity’s vision statement, which is the basis of God’s work our congregation does in, for, and with the community. Since the members of Trinity are passionate about this vision, we are looking for a pastor who shares this passion. We seek a visionary pastor to work with lay leadership to facilitate excellent programs for the Church, such as mid-week youth programs, growth programs, and to continue our numerous outreach programs. Trinity has always supported and led outreach programs in the community for those who are poor or in need. These programs include free community meals, overnight shelter for the homeless (1 month/year), the Saturday warming center for the homeless, and a summer youth mission week. Trinity also offers meeting space for community outreach support organizations. Because of our aging membership, we are looking for an engaging leader who works well with multi-generations and will facilitate revitalizing our children and youth programs. We have had great success with allowing empowerment and a nonjudgmental approach for pastor, lay leaders and members to run with ideas quickly. Trinity’s congregational relationship with the Pastor is under the guidance of God, making us one spirit of faith and love in one body of Christ.
