Ministry Description |
Rosedale UCC is seeking a new Pastor to lead us along God’s path for our church. We are an open and welcoming community of individuals devoted to making a difference both inside and outside the walls of our church. Someone capable in breathing renewed life into our church and also thinks outside the box. Our lay leadership historically has worked as a team with our Pastor, and our congregation thirsts for a proactive and communicative leader. We are looking for a Pastor capable of guiding our church in creating a strong presence in our local community, thus encouraging the surrounding community to view Rosedale UCC as an integral part of their everyday lives, whether they be current members or not. While we benefit from the experience and knowledge of our older members, we wish to encourage a younger generation of members to attend and participate in church activities so Rosedale may grow and meet its full potential. To that point, we seek a Pastor who not only works well with children and young adults, but genuinely enjoys doing so. Crucial for our church going forward is a Pastor who is a good manager of change. One who can lead us in becoming a church where people of all persuasions and walks of life are welcomed and encouraged to champion causes relevant to those of our current society. We seek a Pastor whom members can feel comfortable to reach out to during times of personal or family crisis, elderly, or infirmed. We the congregation, lay leaders, and staff of Rosedale UCC are excited to take these first steps on this journey with a new Pastor as a unified “TEAM”. We look forward to embarking on this journey with a Pastor who will spark our imagination, and empower us all to create a colorful portrait of our future and energize our spirits. |
