Ministry Description |
The Ohio Conference of the United Church of Christ is looking for an interim to work with us through transition. This person needs to work well with all types of people, have strong leadership skills and is ready for taking on the challenge of organizational change. You will work with leaders in the Conference, local churches, Associations and the National Setting as we discern our ministry together
The Interim Conference Minister will provide executive, compassionate, and visionary leadership for the associations and congregations of the Ohio Conference United Church of Christ (UCC) as it connects our faith communities and associations to enhance ministry and better serve Christ's mission.
The Interim Conference Minister will serve as the chief executive officer and report to the Ohio Conference (UCC) conference Board of Directors through the Moderator of the Ohio Conference (UCC) or designee. The main focus of this call will be to position and prepare the conference for its next settled executive by the end of the interim period as defined by the board.
* The successful ICM candidate must also meet the following minimum qualifications:
*Master of Divinity or equivalent
*Ordained clergy in good standing in the UCC
* Experience with interim leadership in church or other settings
