Ministry Description |
First Congregational United Church of Christ of Appleton, WI is seeking an Interim Pastor for Congregational Care and Missions. First Congo is a robust and vital congregation of 1450 members located in the Fox River Valley. The Interim Pastor will act as the primary staff resource for the ministry areas of Congregational Care, Adult Education, and Mission and Service. This Pastor will supervise the part time Pastor of Visitation and support our lay-led Friends in Christ and Stephen Ministry programs. The Pastor will support and coordinate the adult education classes and events with the other pastors and lay ministry leaders. In a very mission-oriented church, our Interim Pastor will act to shape and support our faith partnerships as they extend to the community, statewide, nationally, and globally. This Pastor will serve as part of a pastoral team, preparing and leading worship services and ministering with the whole congregation. Salary and housing allowance for this position will follow Wisconsin Conference UCC guidelines.
